There’s a sacred 25-minute window: 12.5 minutes early or late. Outside of that, you’re either lurking or a diva. We appreciate punctuality, but we also appreciate a buffer to text our mom, fix our eyeliner, or emotionally prepare to mingle.

Too early and you're lurking. Too late and you're self-important.
TLDR:
You’ve got 12.5 minutes of grace before you’re officially rude. Any earlier and you’re loitering like a mall cop.
